Crabgrass thrives in full sunlight and high temperatures. These plants produce a tremendous amount of seed in the mid- to late summer when the day length starts to shorten. These seeds ensure next year’s crop of weeds but can also remain dormant in the soil for several years before sprouting. It is likely that if you have crabgrass in your lawn, it will be there next year, too. Feed Ur Lawn highly recommends taking part of our Crabgrass Control service. We pre-treat your lawn between April-May, and this will make it less likely for a "Crabgrass Outbreak" later in the season. We also offer a post-treatment for some of the dormant weeds that are just beginning to sprout later in the season.
